The CWU Cyber-Hygiene Project aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to practice good cybersecurity habits in both their academic and personal lives. By assessing students’ current understanding of secure behavior tactics through quizzes and interactive learning tools, the project seeks to identify gaps in knowledge and highlight areas for improvement. Through this process, the project aims to foster a deeper awareness of common cybersecurity threats, such as phishing, malware, and weak password practices, while promoting proactive measures like using encryption, setting strong passwords, and practicing safe internet browsing.

The ultimate goal is to empower students to adopt cybersecurity best practices that will not only protect their personal data but also enhance their ability to navigate the increasingly digital world safely. As students complete the interactive quizzes and review educational content, they will gain the tools to improve their online behavior and reduce their vulnerability to cyber threats. This project not only provides students with an opportunity to test their existing cybersecurity knowledge but also guides them in strengthening their digital hygiene habits, contributing to a more secure campus environment overall.
